UNDERSTAND THE LOGICS
Universities are institutions of higher learning, where students come to acquire knowledge, skills, and values that prepare them for their future careers and lives. The primary focus of universities should always be on academics, research, and character development. However, in recent years, there has been a growing trend of hosting concerts and other entertainment events on university campuses. While these events may seem harmless, they can have significant negative impacts on the university community.
Concerts can be a significant distraction for students. University life is already filled with many distractions, and concerts can add to the noise, making it challenging for students to focus on their studies. The preparation and aftermath of concerts can also disrupt the academic schedule, causing classes to be cancelled or rescheduled. This can be particularly detrimental for students who are struggling with their coursework or have critical deadlines to meet.
Concerts can be a safety concern. Large crowds and loud music can create an environment that is conducive to accidents, injuries, and even violence. University campuses are meant to be safe spaces for students, and hosting concerts can compromise that safety. Moreover, the security measures required to host concerts can be costly and divert resources away from more essential university .Concerts can undermine the academic culture of universities. Universities are meant to be places of intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and academic rigor. Hosting concerts can create a party culture that undermines this academic culture and sends the wrong message to students about the purpose of university life.
Finally, concerts can be a logistical nightmare for universities.
In conclusion, while concerts may seem like a fun and exciting way to enhance university life, they can have significant negative impacts on the university community. Universities should prioritize academics, research, and character development over entertainment events like concerts. By doing so, they can create an environment that is conducive to learning, growth, and success.
Why not any ism ?
Liberalism,Secularism and fascism.. should not be promoted because they are all anti-religion. They use every tactic to eliminate the love of religion from people’s hearts. With this kind of system, people get away from their religion. They destroy the system of justice. They separate religion from politics. They establish such a government that destroys the society. They go against the Islamic laws and make decisions
By the promotion of all this, the stick of which is the buffalo law, which destroys every system, because of which nations are left in ruins. They generalize every wrong in the society by establishing wrong laws and customs, due to which the society fails instead of progressing
Everything that destroys justice in the society, fosters cruelty, popularizes wrong, is against Islam, promotes insecurity, such things should be eradicated from the root.
In today’s world, various “isms” like liberalism, secularism, and capitalism claim to offer solutions to humanity’s problems. However, these ideologies are limited and flawed, prioritizing individual freedom and material gain over divine guidance and collective well-being. In contrast, Islam offers a comprehensive and eternal way of life, revealed by God through the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Islam harmonizes individual and collective rights, promoting justice, compassion, and spiritual growth. Its principles and values are timeless and universal, making it the ultimate guide for humanity. Other “isms” pale in comparison, offering only fleeting and incomplete solutions.
Liberalism
prioritizes individual freedom, but often neglects collective well-being.
Secularism
seeks to separate religion and state, but can lead to moral relativism.
Relativism
is the belief that there’s no absolute truth, only the truths that a particular individual or culture happen to believe.
Capitalism
promotes economic growth, but exacerbates income inequality.
In contrast, Islam
offers a holistic approach, integrating spiritual, social, and economic aspects. It promotes compassion, justice, and equality, and its principles of zakat and sadaqah encourage wealth redistribution. While Islam, like any religion, is not immune to misinterpretation and misuse, its core teachings emphasize human dignity and responsibility. By acknowledging the flaws of other ideologies and the comprehensive nature of Islam, we can work towards a more just and equitable society .

Why are concerts discouraged in Islam?
The main purpose of the concerts is to present music in people’s crowd in a way that transcends religion. Today’s people ask Google for everything, so Google will support my definition. From a religious point of view, these events should not only be discouraged but should be completely banned and no religious person (who believes in a religion, in any way) should be allowed to fall into such a crowd. If someone wants to go, he should at least make his line clear.
1. Such music and poetry, which contain vulgar words and instruments, have been declared haram by the scholars of Islam. Music that makes people enraged is also not allowed.
Some friends will completely deny what I said, that it is wrong and they will try to prove that Hazrat Hasaan Ibn Thabit (RA) also used to hum and the Messenger of Allah (SAW) did not forbid it. It is true that Hasaan Ibn Thabit also recited and sang poems, but those poems were in praise of the Messenger of Allah and were completely free from polytheism and indecency. The poetry used in concerts consists of a lot of Shirk and prevails polytheism that is totally opposite to any heavenly religion.
2. Concerts have a mixed atmosphere. That is, there is an open mixing of men and women, which is a forbidden thing according to Islam. Islam enjoins veiling and limits the distinction between men and women in order to protect humanity from adultery and immorality and preserve it in a family system. In today’s enchanted times, heinous and dirty crimes like rape are the products of such mixing. When a woman exposes her body and dances in front of a man, the reaction will be either adultery or similar non-family crimes. These kind of family system instructions are clear in all the religions. So, these type of gatherings are discouraged in the religion.
Concerts that contains such a poetry which is related to Allah, The Messenger s.a.w of Allah or kind of sufi poetry and there’ll be no admixing of men and women, prohibition of vulgar acts as well as words in a controlled medium and manners, then may be i will vote for that.concerts are nothing but promoting indecency. And a Muslim can never be a promoter of indecency. As per the saying of our Prophet ﷺ, whoever does not have modesty does not have faith. It is impossible for a Muslim to have both faith and indecency. As Muslims, we should take steps to prevent that which is not allowed in Islam.
